I am in high school, and I have to write a persuasive essay about my opinion on alternative fuel vehicles, and I have to persuade people about my decision. I mean how am I supposed to know about these cars when i don’t even drive….PLEASE help me!!

It is dieing nothing as the energy is from burning corbin. The hp U get from a motor is directly related to the amount of CO2 that is produced. CO2 is not that bad monster but just natures way of marking the molecule for the plants to recycle.

The main argument that never gets touched when we are talking about the American automobile fleet is, (before we improve are carbon statues or start drilling for our own petroleum for our cars) we need to improve our MPG. Currently in the US our automobile fleet averages just over 13 MPG. While in Europe they are getting an average 45 MPG.
One last thing that everyone always seems to want to ignore is that in 1980, the VERY FIRST thing Ronald Reagan did as Precedent was to sigh away with executive order the “Alternative Energy act of 1976″. If he would have not done this, over 20% of our energy today would be coming from sources other than OIL. Also US cars would be at the same or better standers for MPG than Europe.
I would read up on some of the cars, we have some articles and so does huddler.
The main focus I would pick for an essay would be about how clean the exhaust will be from these cars. We always talk about car pollution, but when the time comes, we may not be willing to switch over. I hope this helps a little, let me know if there is anything I can help with more.
